Privacy Policy

ServiceOver! is a badminton scoreboard. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of its own. This policy describes what the app holds and what the advertising it carries collects.

What the app stores

The match in progress — the score, the games won, player names as you type them, the rally history and your format and interval settings — is saved on your own device so the app can resume where you left off. It is written to app storage on iOS and Android, and to your browser’s local storage on the web.

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we cannot read it. Uninstalling the app, or clearing your browser data, deletes it permanently.

What we collect

Nothing. We operate no servers, no accounts and no analytics. We do not collect your name, email address, location or device identifiers, and we have no way to identify you.

Advertising

ServiceOver! is free and carries advertising. What that means depends on where you are using it:

• On iOS and Android, Google AdMob supplies the banner and the optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch.
• The web demo carries one banner along the bottom of the board, supplied by Adsterra. That is all of it: there are no pop-ups, no interstitials, no push notifications and no advertising on the card shown when a demo match ends.

These services are controlled by Google and by Adsterra, not by us, and may collect device and usage information in order to serve and measure ads. Google’s handling of that data is governed by its Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy, and Adsterra’s by its own at adsterra.com/privacy-policy.

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom you are asked for consent before personalised ads are requested, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. On iOS you are additionally asked, through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether the app may track you; declining still shows ads, just non-personalised ones. You can change these choices at any time in your device settings.

A rewarded ad is never shown without you choosing to watch it, and declining it is always available.

Children

ServiceOver! is not directed at children. Ad requests are configured for a general audience with content limited to a family-safe rating.

Your choices

• Clear the saved match by uninstalling the app, or by clearing site data on the web.
• Adjust or withdraw ad consent in your device or browser settings.
• Opt out of personalised advertising at myadcenter.google.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
